12 little things that tell a lot about your Personality

What is a personality?

Personality is a way of behaving, expressing which includes emotions, attitude and mood. Personality is a behavioral characteristic of a person. There are many definitions of personality including “Personality is behaving in a particular way in variety of situations.” Personality falls under category psychology. Personality traits include body, expression, behavior and appearance.

Reading people is a psychology and a skill that anyone can achieve. They are tiny things but it will really help you know the person well. Here is more than just first impression of a person.  It will help you find people with good character. People often judge another person by their appearance but not behavior. You're wrong if you do that! When you meet someone for the first time, there are some of the tips that would help you determine the person’s nature.

How they walk

How people walk or stand defines a lot about people’s personality. A person who drags feet while walking lack energy or they maybe sad. A person who thinks while walking are day dreamers. They’re lost in their own world. A person who walks heavy steps is the short tempered one. They have childish nature. The person who walks slowly and calmly is the lively one. They are relaxed and they enjoy their life.

How they argue

Arguments arises when there are insecurities and threat communications. An argument becomes even harsh if both parties try to defend themselves. When you’re having arguments with people, how do you react to that? Do you attack the person or the problem? People who try to solve the problems without harming next ones feelings are the positive type people.

How they react to plan change

Change is uncertain, but it definitely generates a reaction. Sometimes plans get changed due to unfavorable situations. How people reacts upon plan change determines whether they’re flexible or rigid. Well both aren’t bad but it depends on what personality works on you.

Eye contact

Are you making an eye contact or are you avoiding it? Shy people mostly avoid eye contacts to keep away from difficulties. However when people are okay with eye contact but they avoid conversations, they’re often lying. A confident person is someone who makes a good eye contact and is comfortable with conversations. But in some cultures, looking straight into the eye is considered rude and threatening.

Body language

Body language is the most powerful tool to understand the person’s behavior. It includes facial expression, gestures, postures and eye expressions. How a person sit, or how much they use their hands to portray something tells a lot about a person. We easily understand their moods via facial expressions. Open posture while sitting indicates openness and friendly people.

Punctuality

Punctuality is important trait that defines a person. It is not only necessary to become a good person but it also contributes in bright future. Notice how much effort people give to be on time. A punctual person is systematic and planned. They sleep and get up at right time. They’re disciplined about their work. But latecomers don’t possess any of these qualities. Punctuality is a discipline which every person should definitely have within them. I personally feel punctuality is the most important trait amongst all.

Biting nails

Research suggests that people who bite their nail tend to be perfectionist and organized. Also people who are impatient or frustrated are more likely to bite their nails. When people are unable to relax, they bite nails. There are people who assume that nail biting has something to do with anxiety and depression, but no it's not.

Taste of music

People who listen to complex music genres are likely to get open up with new experiences. Whereas people who like listening upbeat jams are more extroverted. People who listen classical music are likely to be creative. Music tastes describe what a person’s personality is. The factors that play a huge role in determining a person's music taste depend on their age, gender and cultural background. Music is also very important in the get to know each other conversation. But there aren't any music that describes a bad personality.

Frankness

People who are frank are the type of person that enjoy adventure and who takes risks. These people enjoy experiencing and they are curious to learn new. But the person who is just opposite to being open is somehow introverts. They want to be reserved and they are mostly happy in their world. They avoid socialization and aren’t curious to learn.

How frequent they get angry

Personality can also be guessed on how much a person gets angry. And how do they show their anger? Physically or mentally? Everyone gets angry when things go wrong and it is totally normal. But if a person gets angry on small things very frequently, you should probably stay away from them. This behavior states that the person is aggressive in nature.

How kind they are

If someone is helping a person, we definitely know the person’s character right? How much they are involved in social works and how much they are considerate can definitely tell a lot about a person’s personality. Never believe in people who are only good in words. Remember these kinds of people can not do anything except gossiping.

How frequent do they use phone

People who are always on their phone have on idea about what is going on in real life. They are often fantasy kind of people. They think what they are in social media is exactly their real life personality. Whereas people who use their phone for a limited time, are the real ones. They are more involved in real life rather the social media world.

To end, these traits may not be applicable for every type of person because a person gets personality changes on how tough phase they have been through. Thankyou for your interest in the article. If you liked this, do comment down. For any queries contact me on shakyaaloyana@gmail.com
