remain in bed. However trying our best we get sick sometimes. It could be
weather changes or infections. Here we will be discussing about 10 health goals
to achieve this year. Maintaining good health positively impacts the ability to
achieve goals. Your health goals can range from 5 minute activities or day
routines.
Being healthy is the best part of your lifestyle. Your life
becomes happy only if you have a good health. Your whole life relies upon good
health condition. Taking good care of health is important for self esteem. Maintaining
a healthy lifestyle is something you need to follow to take care of yourself. A
30 minutes workout everyday can help a lot too. Health is a source of happiness
because it protects your heart and body. The three important keys to maintain a
healthy lifestyle are balanced diet, workout regularly and a sound sleep. Health
is very precious and valuable for an individual. There is also a saying, “Health
is wealth”.
Get enough sleep
Research
says that adults require 7-8 hours of sleep. Getting enough sleep is very
essential so that you would not be dull when you wake up. Enough sleep impacts
all the areas in life. Sleep is the most neglected factor by people. But it
deeply affects the overall functioning of the body. A quality sleeps helps and
person to repair them and be active the next day.
Refuse alcohol, smoking or illegal
drugs
Once you start using alcohol or cigarettes, it is a lot easier to
try experimenting on other harmful substances. It can lead to serious health
conditions including death. We see people drinking for short term enjoyment but
it lead to long term depression, fatigue and many more. True happiness comes
from within not bottle or cigarette packs.
Eat breakfast everyday
We all are always in hurry in the mornings, but take time out for
having breakfast to fuel your body. It you are always in hurry try
making breakfast in the night before. Make sure that breakfast
contains grain and protein. There are a lot of breakfast benefits including
increasing metabolism and decreasing cholesterol.
Make a food journal
A food journal helps to be aware of what and how much you are
eating throughout the day. It helps you to become particular about the food you
eat. You will avoid those foods you typically eat it out of boredom.
It makes you guess yourself every time you reach for a snack. And make sure,
you do not only make the journal and leave it; but also follow the routine
properly. If you go irregular, that increases tiredness. So try not having any
cheat day on the routine.
Unplug yourself
Always into electronics is definitely not good for mental health
but also physical health. If you want to make deeper relationships with people,
meet them in real life. When you are in your phone or laptop you are likely to
sit or become sedentary the whole day. Do not spend a significant time using
electronics the whole day. Hanging on the phone for the whole day should be
avoided. It makes you really dull and causes fatigue. Instead of that, spend
time more with the nature, it is beneficial.
Practice yoga
Yoga has unlimited benefits to your health including relaxation and
it helps you develop the mind connection. Yoga increases flexibility and
strength and helps to maintain a strong metabolism. Yoga also helps in sharp
focus and it also has breathing benefits. Try doing yoga for 15-30 minutes
everyday as it helps you in many ways. Yoga helps in flexibility which makes
you active the whole day.
Eat a planned based diet
Make a routine or set a specific goal of things you eat. Make
changes in your eating preferences and trying eating less meat if you do not
want to go completely vegetarian. Start small and slowly cut things out. Eat more
vegetables and less meat or dairy. Pay attention to limit the junk foods. Avoid
animal products and focus on plant based products. Eat more natural foods. You should
also eat seeds, beans, and more of a fiber food.
Take time for self care
In this busy world everyone has their one problem and people take
a lot of stress. So take time out to practice self care. It allows you to time
away from stress so you can be more resilient to face challenges. Take
time out for yourself, it may be watching a movie yourself, cleaning the room
or cooking. Enjoy with your own company.
Check the mid day meal
People tend to eat more their capacity for not wasting the food, that
is wrong. Research shows that people eat 92% of what is in their plate. If you
are ok with 50% of the meal than wrap up the food and eat it next time when
you’re hungry. Also, have a proper routine about what you eat in a day. In this
hectic life, people often tend to eat in restaurants and eat junk foods frequently; this is a very bad idea. It would not harm you now, but it will definitely
have a long term effect on your health.
Stop eating out
It is easy to grab lunch in drive through in the mid day. It
seriously impacts your health. The junks may taste yummy, but trust me it
develops a long term effect in your body. The amount of fat and sodium in
restaurants …is a mystery. You often do not get healthy foods in restaurants.
You should be sure that everything you eat in a restaurant has a lot of fats
and sodium in it. It is always good to prepare a home cooked food.
