If you want to yourself growing, the first thing you need to
do is start thinking positive every time.
Mostly in this busy generation, thinking positive is very much
important. A positive person has a wonderful personality and is more likely to
achieve goals.
Sometimes you may face negative situations and get negative
thoughts and it is normal. But living the rest of life with negative thoughts
isn’t good. Being positive is not as easy as you think. It is a slow process
for sure but when you succeed, life gets better.
During my childhood, I was very much negative about
different matters. I haven’t yet much succeeded in being positive every time, but
I have realized with time what the things that help me to become positive. In this
blog, I am going to share my thoughts on staying positive.
Don’t ask “what if”
During my childhood, I always used to question what if. I’ve
noticed that whenever I asked that question, things turned out to be negative. So
your thoughts have a great impact on what you achieve. Try living in the
moment; don’t get tensed on what happens next or what happened in the past. Asking
“what if” won’t make your life better or nothing will change but you will get
deepened into negative thoughts. The more you think negative, the more you will
get stressed.
Get a positive environment
Outdoor environment is great for you to get positive. If you’re
living in a toxic environment, whatever you do to stay positive won’t help. The first
thing you need to do is settle in a positive and fresh environment. What you should try is start waking up early
in the morning and observe the sunrise lapse. On my experience, I think it is
great thing to get positive. You will get a very good vibe. Stay away from TV
or phone for sometime because they are too responsible to give you negative
vibes.
Stay away from negative people
If you have negative people around you, you can start
encouraging them to stay positive first. If they don’t apply on it, simply stay
away from them. There are people who are so much negative and they also make
people upset. No matter how many time we try encouraging them, they won’t
change so staying away is the best. Get friends who encourage you to achieve
and who is a motivator. When you are getting negative vibes, a good friend is
all you need.
Remember yourself
Be careful on how much you are impacting your health. Only for
yourself, try staying away from negative thoughts. Negative vibes arise due to
insecurities, excess worry, and stress. If you’re worried about your work, take
a break and give time to your physical health. Self care is another best option
after getting a positive environment. Sleeping in right time and balanced diet also
comes in self care.
Solution rather than problem
What most of the people do is they start worrying rather
than searching for solutions. Every problem in the world has a solution. You
feel negative when you sit and think about problems. Instead of that, get up,
brainstorm and find a solution no matter what. No matter little by little by
little but at least find a solution and don’t give up until then. A small step
can at least ease your mood and make you feel better. Focus on helpful
solutions to problems rather than sticking to it.
Don’t let your thoughts ruin the life
What happens mostly is people start thinking about their
problems and they don’t focus on their present life. If you are worried about
your past, remember you have already came a long way; so thinking about past
makes no sense. And if you are worried about future actions, remember it hasn’t
even happened. Who knows what happens; so living in the moment is the best
idea. No one knows what will happen at what time. Live as this is your last day
and enjoy the moment.
Focus
The things you’re thinking much today, will it matter to you
till a decade? No. everything happens for a reason and no one can stop things
from happening. Focus on good things and
enjoy your life in a joyful way rather than getting trapped by negative
thoughts. Negative thoughts can lead you to depression even death. Do you want
to get a bad health due to negative thoughts and regret it later? No, right? So
go with the flow.
Listening
Listening good mood is my personally favorite way to get
motivated and stay positive; I’ve mentioned my love for music in previous
articles too. Don’t think much and play your favorite playlist and relax. it
really helps to boost your mood. Sometimes when you don’t have a person to
consult about your negative feelings, this method works good. Even an inspiring
movie or a motivational speech would go.
Exercise
Yes exercise is another effective way to freshen up your
mind and stay positive. Exercise and yoga will help you get out of tensions and
bad feelings. This might be a boring thing to do but try it once, and remember
my words then. I highly recommend exercising because it has a lot of benefits from
get proper sleep, calming you, reducing fatigue and most importantly staying
positive.
Learn from criticism
We are surrounded by people who never appreciate good things
but always criticize for everything. So start learning from criticisms and get
better day by day. When you get criticized, try searching something good in it
and improve yourself. There are people, who have evil mouth, but you shouldn’t get
upset on it; it is also responsible to negative thoughts. From today, take everything
whether good or bad in a learning way.
These were my ways to stay positive and I’m too in a learning
phase. Negative thoughts are common but it is your duty to get out of them. If
