Woman's Rights

Women’s rights and gender equality is a sensitive issue to talk on. Talking about today, women’s rights are an important concern. With the emerge of modernization, women fight for their rights and seek justice. Talking about past days, women had to obey everything said by their husbands as the world was a male dominant society. Males were supreme and females were said to be weak. Women’s had to sacrifice their dreams and had to get married. Even fathers used to treat their daughters as a burden.

Today the scene has changed. Women are making their countries and the world proud. Parents are proud of their daughters and girls are not forced to marry and are treated as a burden. But there are still some places where males tend to treat women badly. There are some countries and villages where women are not treated like they should be treated.

The World’s 50% of the population is female. And some countries do not give rights to women. And in those areas, women don’t speak for themselves. They support their husbands no matter how badly they get treated. In those areas, still, girls have to get married at an early age, they have to sacrifice their dreams, they get deprived of the education, and the major problem, and they cannot speak for their rights.

And, in many places, women are treated weak. For instance, if a girl wants to become a cricketer, their family won’t agree to this, why? Because cricket is a MEN’s game. This is not done, game is game, if one has an interest, he/she can do anything in life. There are places where women are discriminated against, their menstruation is said bad, and they are judged in their jobs.

This topic, Women’s rights is vast. The more you read about women’s rights, the more you get to know about the deprivation of women’s rights. Once I had read about a story, let me tell you. There was a husband, wife, and child. The husband did nothing and he always used to came home drunkard. The child was growing and they needed some money for the child’s education. So, without taking the help of her husband, the wife started driving a taxi to earn some money for the child’s education. But, unfortunately, she was teased and trolled for not doing “women’s work”. What do you think is A WOMAN” S WORK? There is no job a woman can’t do. For this example, you can see how much women are trolled and are said weakly.

If a man would have become a driver to earn money, no one would have said anything, but the same thing a woman does, and she gets judged. People still think that women are made to do the house chores.

With all the confidence, I say to you that one day girls will make their nation and the world proud more than the boys. I am not comparing, I too believe inequality, but what I am saying is one day girls will be doing jobs that are mostly considered as men’s jobs. You all will be proud of us girls one day.

Coming to women’s rights, society should make sure that all the genders including male, female and other genders enjoy their rights and opinions. If you are a responsible citizen, make sure that if you see gender inequality scenarios anywhere you go, you will make those peoples understand. They may not understand you, but tell me you’ll at least try. Make this small contribution and see how you impact the world.

.Just because you’re enjoying your right, you won’t care about anyone. Let us all be selfless and help people get their rights. After all, everyone deserves their part of rights. People are constantly fighting for their rights, why not we support them? We won’t be small by helping people right?

Women’s rights are human rights. From getting the proper education to achieving their life goals, girls too have their dreams. We girls don’t dream about marriage. Our first dream has always been to achieve our life goals, to become independent, to help the family, and to become responsible people.

All across the globe, women get raped, killed, abused and they are afraid to raise their voices. Let us all be their voice. From women’s rights what we expect is all-gender equality. We have never expected to become the ruling queens of the world but we only want us to be respected and the male’s to understand our wants and needs. For your information, we are human too.

Woman right is now a goal that we have to achieve. If women’s rights are seriously taken, society will get better for everyone.
