 Science vs Management

Science vs management: which one is better? is the ultimate question of all time. This question has no answer; although for me obviously Management is better because I am a management student haha. But my point of view doesn't really prove that Management is better. There is always a tough war between science and management. 
I am back after a long time with Up in the air part 2. You've already guessed the topic of the day; it's "Science vs Management." I will be having a debate on science or management. Believe me this blog is going to be one of my best publications. 

A source defined science as a systematic study. I mean isn't management systematic? The word systematic refers to going according to plan. As far I know planning and system is something that we've been learning in management for years. So for me Management is definitely systematic. 
So science is I think more of a practical study of the world with experiments and observation whereas Management is related to administration, business, accomplishing objective through the use of resources and definitely planning also, haha. Management students are more likely to be good in People skills. Science students are curious about experiments and field study. 
Science and Management are totally different sectors, however both are related to each other. Science and Management both are studied widely but science has a comparatively high scale. In the context of Nepal, children are encouraged to study science and become a doctor. Why doctor? Do your children really want to become a doctor? Maybe he/she wants to become a cricketer, a chef? These are a really underrated career choice.
 Let me tell you my story. I had just passed SEE and I had decided to study management with the consent of my parents. They were never forceful for my career, Thank god. So a relative came into my home and congratulated me. I thanked and then she asked, "What are you studying further? " I answered, "Management". I still remember her expression then; she made this face like her cake's burnt. Then with that expression she said, "Management is good. My son studied science." Did I ask her?  Nooo she didn't have to give explanations, right? Why was she comparing? Touch wood when I succeed in life I would definitely want to meet her. 
 In the context of Nepal, students who are talented in studies join science and students who are average and who fail kind of students join management. If you agree with this, you're definitely living in the 18th century. Let me present to you my view. 
 Can you compare between sugar and salt? No, because they're different and both of them have their own place. Many people believe science is better because it is tough. Maybe science is a good stream but please stop comparing. Right to choose a career is only a right of a student. Maybe your son studies science and I study management, so what? Maybe he is studious and I am not? Ask him If he can speak in public. Ask him if he can generate code or solve a balance sheet. 
 I am not saying Management is the bestest but I feel that both streams have their own importance. I can't experiment or dissect a frog. But I can understand entrepreneurship. 
 If someone is not passionate about science subject, they study Management. If someone is not passionate about Account and is interested in science subjects will study Science. Simple as it is. You study science, very good I really appreciate it. But is it necessary to taunt Management students? You taunt us sarcastically but after that what goes on in our mind do you even realize? Science and Management are both great subjects. It cannot be compared. 
 Both streams are competitive. It is only about selecting the right subject that suits you. I respect both the streams and both provide equal opportunities. That's it. 
In fact Science and Management are interrelated. Management is a systematic study like Science because it has its own theories and concepts. Also many principles of Management are the outcome of experiments and observation. Management is not exactly science but they have quite similar concepts due to which they are interrelated. 
Lastly everything is about personal preference. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. What stream you are interested in is the biggest question. So to those who are at school levels, please don't make a decision in influence. If you want to become a chef, you should definitely become a chef. Also hats off to science peoples. I understand how tough science is. I have seen my friends completing assignments the whole night and 3-4 pages of mathematics  solutions is not an easy thing. 
Let's not fight for the best stream and let's understand the importance of both the subjects. Both of the subjects are different with vast scope. Everything depends upon your thing of interest.
